Basic Protective Measures Against the Novel Coronavirus

- Practice general respiratory hygiene by covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or your flexed elbow.
- Maintain social distancing by staying at least 3 feet away from people, especially those who are sick.

- If you have mild respiratory symptoms and no travel history to or within China, carefully practice basic respiratory and hand hygiene and stay home until you are recovered, if possible.
- Practice general hygiene measures when visiting live animal markets, wet markets, or animal product markets.
